The 3 Rivers/Pennsylvania West Combined Federal Campaign (0754) covers Western Pennsylvania, parts of Eastern Ohio and the West Virginia panhandle. We are the Federal Employee and Military annual fundraising effort representing hundreds of Local, National and International Charities. In 2011 Federal Employees raised $1,096,831 with 4,109 donors!

This website will offer you a directory of approved charities, download useful campaign materials and overall; participate in helping make a difference in the community in which we live. Our campaign region includes: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties (PA). Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, Ohio, and Wetzel Counties (WV). Belmont and Monroe Counties (OH).

The 3 Rivers/PA West CFC has merged with the CFC of the Laurel Highlands region. We will be the contact for all charities and federal agencies in the new region.

3 RIVERS/PA WEST CFC PROUD OF CAMPAIGN AND FEDERAL EMPLOYEE SUPPORT

It has to come to our attention that OPM has released a memo (March 2012) informing LFCC and PCFO not to expense charity funds towards food, entertainment, etc. This was enforced due to an audit on the National Capital Area CFC. You can review the audit and expenses in question through the link (http://www.opm.gov/About_opm/reports/AgencyComments.asp).

Please know the 3 Rivers/PA West CFC can account for all expenses. We do not misuse our funds, but we have used minimal funds in the past to assist with food at the breakfast awards event, charity kick offs, and other appreciation events. Under the new regulation, no funds can be used for such expenses.
          
I again want to assure our donors that our CFC is very proud of our campaign and we try to keep our costs to the minimum in order to run a successful campaign across our large region. Our charities are aware of the CFC Administrative Fee, but are grateful to our service because they could never reach 20,000+ Federal Employees at such a low cost. Our administrative fee fluctuates between 8-11% annually. Costs include printing, mailing, annual audit, salaries, website, software, travel, phone, and other business related expenses.
